Best companies for business travel named
Business Traveler magazine announces the world's best airlines, hotels and other travel services that excelled in 2012
Thread counts and 24-hour butler services are nice, but for most business travelers it's seamless convenience that makes the difference.
For its December 2012/January 2013 issue, the U.S. edition of Business Traveler magazine published its annual list of readers’ top picks for business travel services around the world.
The magazine’s 2012 Best in Business Travel Awards named 41 different companies across 64 categories, including 10 new categories that were added this year.
Despite a decreasing field due to consolidation in areas such as air travel and rental cars, the magazine said travelers were benefiting more than ever from the advances of highly competitive players.

Best Business Hotel in the World: Peninsula Hong Kong
Best New Business Hotel in the World: Jumeirah at Etihad Towers
Best Airport Hotel in the World: Frankfurt Hilton
Best Car Rental Company in the World: Hertz
Best Credit Card Rewards Program: American Express Membership Rewards
Best Mobile Travel App: Flightstats
Best Airport in the World: Changi Airport
Best North America Business Meetings Destination: Chicago
Best International Business Meetings Destination: Seoul
