Club culture princess Mademoiselle Yulia, who made our Tokyo Hot List; 20 people to watch last November, is to ditch her multi-colored style for one night only on June 12th to support Project White T-Shirt.
Begun in LA in December 2009, Project White T-Shirt challenges the dominance of high-fashion and street fashion while also offering a conduit for different forms of art to flourish.
An exhibition of works will be on show at Wut Berlin in Shibuya from June 12th until the 25th.
The exhibition features 31 avant-garde designers from 13 countries who will remake the simple white t-shirt in their own style and organizers choose Mademoiselle Yulia for her strikingly originally looks and style.
Mademoiselle Yulia's reputation as a DJ, MC and singer has seen her invited to perform with the likes of international stars M.I.A., Katy Perry, Steve Aoki and Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.
With her rainbow-colored Cleopatra bob and penchant for outré clothing, she’s been hailed as 'The Lady Gaga of Japan'.
Yulia has cemented her fashion-icon status with a regular column in Nylon magazine online at Honeyee. Only 22, Yulia has already released two second remix albums and started a line of accessories called GIZA, but there’s more to come -- and more hair colors to explore.

Project White T-Shirt *After Party* takes place on Saturday June 12th at 11pm at Trump Room.
