Bring a jacket. These are the 4 coolest bars in Singapore. Literally

Singapore is hot and sweaty. These bars are not. Dress appropriately -- you'll need more than a drink to keep warm
Snow City Singapore
True to its name -- at the Snow City Ice Bar almost everything is made of ice. Drinks come in ice glasses, served from a bar made of ice.

Frostbite in Singapore? It's a real danger when you frequent these sub-zero bars.

1. Snow City Ice Bar

Snow City Ice BarTo get acclimatized, it's best to spend some time in the Polar Bear Gallery to adjust to the sharp drop in temperature in the ice bar.At the Snow City Ice Bar, almost everything is sculpted out of ice, including the glasses. Bundle up against the Ice Bar’s constant -7 Celsius temperature, and head for the bargain bar where you can shiver through four vodka shots for S$30. Actually, four should warm you up. If not, hit the hot chocolate bar next door.

2. Bar CoCoon

Indochine Bar CoCoonLocated in Indochine's Forbidden City, Bar CoCoon was dubbed 'the Ice Palace,' drawing reference to the wing in China's imperial palace where emperors once banished out of favor concubines. This hand-sculpted bar is something like a bank vault -- inside a sixteen-by-twelve-foot icy box reinforced with triple-glazed safety glass for extreme conditions. The glass in Bar CoCoon is filled with a nitric-oxide mixture that minimizes condensation and keeps the floor packed with snow. The mercury hits a -15 Celsius making it impossible to serve beer or wine -- only vodka. That's the point.

3 and 4. Eski Bar (Holland Village & Circular Road)

Eski BarThe Eski Bars were inspired by owners Andy Lim and Elaine Teh. The Eski Bar website says he wanted to keep his beer cold as long as possible, while she just wanted to show off her winter togs.Okay, so there are two locations for the Eski bar -- we cheated a bit. But these are Singapore's answer to Stockholm's Ice Bar with two zones: a ‘freezer’ bar and a warmer ‘igloo’ chiller. Temperatures range from -6 to -16 degrees Celsius. If you don't fancy the supplied jackets at both Eski Bar locations, no worries. Snow bunny-style ‘Eski Angels’ (you know them as ‘bartenders’) will endeavor to hit you with enough drinks to keep you toasty.
