Tweet like a bird and get a postcard-worthy view of Shanghai and the 2010 Expo site from the Lupu Bridge.

While the Lupu Bridge -- the world’s longest arched bridge -- provides a stunning element to any image of Shanghai, it is well worth getting closer.

Admittedly, there are better views of Shanghai (for example, Hyatt on the Bund’s Vue Bar), but a journey atop Lupu Bridge delivers an uninterrupted bird's eye view at the site for the upcoming 2010 Expo.

Get adventurous -- tackle the 367 steps to escape the constant stream of motorway traffic below and take in the more sedate progress of low-lying barges on the Huangpu.

The expedition costs RMB 80, and comes with a guide who tags along for part of the way. There is another at the summit able to answer questions about Lupu Bridge and the 2010 Expo alike.
