Bukhansan National Park

Bukhansan National Park, unlike other national parks in South Korea, is located inside the borders of Seoul and Gyeonggi-do -- an ecological island amidst an urban sea.

Serving as the green lungs for the city, Bukhansan National Park boasts more than 1,300 species of flora and fauna, and is rich in ecological, cultural and historical resources.

It has over 10 one-day hiking courses, of varying levels of difficulty, for hikers to choose from.

Bukhansan National Park has graced the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records as the “Most Visited National Park per Unit Area,” with its visitor-count reaching five million each year.
