The Hong Kong book that beat 'Game of Thrones' on the bestseller list

"Ladies Who Launch in Hong Kong" tells the stories of a dozen successful female entrepreneurs and it is this month's hottest English-language book

Topping Dymock’s bestselling rack for three weeks now is "Ladies Who Launch in Hong Kong" by Maseena Ziegler.

The stories of 12 different female entrepreneurs in Hong Kong is outselling George Martin’s "Game of Thrones" and Paul Arden’s "It’s Not How Good You Are, It’s How Good You Want To Be."

New to Hong Kong, the author Ziegler herself is a successful businesswoman. But instead of sharing her own story, Ziegler wielded her entrepreneurial spirit and took things up a notch by interviewing a dozen of her fellow female entrepreneurs.

“They all had an idea which gripped them like a fever, and they acted on it,” Ziegler told The Booklover

From stay-at-home mums and bankers, these 12 women turned ideas into sustainable businesses with no previous experiences as entrepreneurs.

Ziegler wants her readers to be inspired and take advantage of Hong Kong’s unique setting as a billionaire haven. “The city has an entrepreneurial mindset. People here champion others who decide to make a go of it,” she said.

Aspiring entrepreneurs can get a one-on-one mentoring session with one of the inspiring businesswomen from "Ladies Who Launch in Hong Kong" by joining the Facebook page.
