Mak's Noodles

Mak's Noodles has been serving the city's tiniest and arguably the best shrimp wontons for nearly five decades.

The restaurant's Chinese name loosely translates to "Mak's stingy noodles" and they live up to it by serving bowls of wonton noodles little larger than the size of your palm.

Apart from the delicately wrapped wontons, the hole-in-the-wall eatery also does flavor-packed slow-cooked beef brisket and a variety of other noodle dishes. Expect to see diners wolfing down two or more dishes in one go. It's best to stay away during weekday lunch hours as Mak's Noodles is usually packed with office-goers.
