Author: Nancy Zhang

Growing up among the dreaming spires of Oxford, Nancy Zhang graduated with an engineering degree and toughed it out in corporate London for a year before switching to social sciences concentrating on China and the Asia Pacific.

In three years in Shanghai she has written lifestyle stories for Shanghai Daily, business stories for newswires, and technical stories for industry magazines. She has interviewed hundreds of people in all walks of life in Shanghainese, Mandarin and English.

Having been in both the hard and soft sciences, she still stubbornly maintains that the latter is harder -- precisely because there are no right answers. If you would like to contact Nancy, her email is nancyinshanghai@gmail.com.
