Prior to her studies in politics and social issues at UC Berkeley (BA) and Harvard (MS), she studied performing arts at the San Francisco School of the Arts. Jenara is a tea lover, avid swimmer, design appreciator, has a palpable curiosity in every person she meets, and is currently opening a Miami-inspired lounge in Kathmandu as part of the lifestyle brand she co-founded, South Beach Nepal. In addition to CNN, her work has appeared in TIME, BlackBook Magazine, and NextBillion.
