Author: Clarissa Wei

Clarissa Wei is a freelance journalist based in New York and Los Angeles.

With family in China and a passion for never staying in one place, she fell in love with Shanghai during her semester abroad with NYU and plans to come back often for xiaolongbaos.

Apart from the ability to walk whenever and however you want on the streets, her favorite part about Shanghai has been the 6 a.m. flag-twirling, yo-yo playing and Taichi-wielding people in Zhongshan Park.

Clarissa began her journalism career as a serial intern. She's had ten internships including ones at Fox News, NBCUniversal, CBS, NY1 News, KTLA and LA Weekly.

Other bylines include CBS Los Angeles, LA Weekly and Settling Magazine.
