Adam Bray first arrived in Vietnam in 2003. When not traveling on assignment, he splits his time between Phan Thiet, Vietnam and Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Adam has contributed to more than 20 guidebooks to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand, and has written (and in many cases provided photography) for publishers such as DK Eyewitness, Insight Guides, Thomas Cook, ThingsAsian, Berlitz, Footprint, AA, Lonely Planet and Time Out. He is fluent in Vietnamese and speaks a smattering of other local languages, including Cham and Khmer.
His favorite regional topics include the ancient Champa Empire and contemporary minority cultures of Vietnam and Cambodia, as well as history, culture and tourism throughout Southeast Asia and the Pacific islands.
